Dan Harmeson has been known to answer to numerous names: Harme’, Big-D, D-Train, Dan-imal, and D-Money. He guesses it all comes with the name and has embraced these numerous identities. Dan grew up among the vines of California’s infamous Sonoma County wine country and managed to escape (with nominal scarring) at the end of the millennium. Married at twenty, Dan holds a BS in Information Technology. When not fixing computers, Dan likes to take photos, read about technology, listen to Christian music, hang out at church, and play with his son, Elijah. Dan’s first love is our great God who makes all things possible, and has given him two more loves: his wife and son. A writer by force and not nature, Dan hopes to glorify Christ in his evaluations and reviews of the music that come out of the Christian market. His in-house editor/wife will be on hand to trim mind numbing ramblings and constant misuses of punctuation.
Dan received Christ as his Lord and Savior at a very young age and has been enjoying God-glorifying music ever since. His faith grew exponentially in the first years of his marriage. The chance to grow in life experiences alongside his beautiful and gifted wife has drawn him to a deeper realization of God’s work through Christ’s death on the cross.
Dan loves the dynamic connections he makes with music. The anticipation of new albums and imaginative melodies keep him looking around every corner for new material. A lover of all genres, (yes, even country and rap), he traverses the internet for “Disposable” music (legal, free downloads). Feel free to twitter him about the most recent free Christian music downloads available: @dharmeson.
