Cross Movement Records is having a difficult year. Recently, Emanuel Lambert, Jr. aka Da’ Truth has admitted to “moral indiscretions” in his marriage and is taking time off from touring and preaching in order to appropriately reconcile with his wife, family, and church. Truth is the third rapper on CMR to be removed from ministry because of moral failing in this area and it saddens us. You can read the artist’s public apology here.
Whatever your opinion, please keep Da’ Truth and his family lifted in prayer.

That is definitely tragic. My heart goes out to all involved, particularly his family… I suspect they’ll suffer under the microscope of the scrutiny of others.
Enock, who recently passed away, was told to sit because of an affair.
I always thought Cross Movement Records was on point, but now, based on the way Satan is making that camp “Job #1″, I realize that the label is a straight up weapon for Christ. Wow. Circle the wagons, boys. Looks like y’all are on the verge of something biblical.
I don’t know if I’d consider multiple accounts of sexual sin within leadership a sign from God that a ministry is on the right path man. I mean really. I don’t know what to think, but I’m definitely concerned. Glad for the honesty from the ministry about the situations though.
Bottom line is this, they are no different then anybody else. Just brothers trying to live holy. Telling a little white lie is just as bad as cheating on your wife. Its all the same sin. As long as they have owned up to their actions and most importantly repented truthfully to God, the restoration process can begin. There is only one who is sinless. As long as they learn from their mistakes and it doesn’t become a pattern, they will be just fine. Be blessed and stay strong.
Its an unfortunate situation. However, I believe he is truly sorry and for that God will restore him. It would have been nice to see a live apology instead of a written “official apology” . There’s something to be said to look into a man’s eyes and see that he is sincere. The eyes are the doorway to the soul. I pray that his family can work through this, even if it means not ever recording another CD.

Don’t misunderstand: sin is anathema to the Lord. Let’s never make the mistake of regarding any man’s fall as a good thing. That is not God’s will for any man. We need to know that if Satan can discredit any minister, he will, since it’s likely that someone else may become disillusioned in the message as well as the man. THAT’S what we need to be aware of.
My sister once told me that Satan will not disturb devil-worshippers, because he might accidental drive them to Christ. This is why ministries, especially effective ones are constantly under assault. Cross Movement Records should be aware that they are considered damaging to Hell’s Kingdom, and that Satan won’t stop until they’re done for. We should all be Satan’s Public Enemy #1.
He is and even more so now in need of the support of the church. HE IS FAMILY !! especialy when we as believers ( some of us ) are so quick to romanticise and forgive non-professing believers who are so carnal you cant tell difference and just plain old un-saved people when they stumble.Yes , we are called to minister and preach the gospel to the world but at the same time family comes first. We just have to keep each other in prayer. I’m glad Da Truth is doing what he is doing. GOD will restore him. Just like David, he went to GOD in whom he sinned against. We have to be compassionate and show love and help the ones who may fall. I love that his church have a restoration team. Just is just awesome. Some many people will fall and the Christians will cut them off instead of helping them. This man of GOD will be restored!!
I really appreciate Da Truth coming out and admitting his faults, because you have alot of Christians hiding their faults, and when it is brought to light..they deny it. We all are not perfect by any means, we only strive to be. No sin greater than the next…So Its still love Da Truth, keep your head up and God will restore you completely…

Masterflex, satan had nothing to do with this. The book of James clearly tells us in verse 14 that men are tempted by their own desires. This is war against the flesh which should be crucified daily. This especially hits home when you have preachers of the gospel that are affected by such sin. This is the reason in James chap 3, the author speaks of many not becoming teachers for the sake of stumbling. Please read entire chapter to get better understanding first. Pray for Emmanuel and the others. This is part of the danger of the lime light. Die to Self folks as true followers of Christ.
Let’s clear something up, Da truth didn’t come out and admit his fault, he was caught. We must all make sure we aren’t using our righteousness as a cloak of maliciousness. Be careful people.
