Perhaps, Headless Unicorn Guy! No fun for someone outside your market making money off your readers. But neither CBA or ECPA publishers can't duplicate the work that sells because of their exclusively restrictive conservative writing conventions put in place to protect core market readers who made CBA and ECPA what they are. Neither can they support non-affiliated Christian authors like me who sell to their readers. Exclusivity has its drawbacks.

According to them, their market doesn’t want to read this type story and isn’t ready for it. I’m aware of a couple of books these publishers have put out in recent times, that make the climate look as though it might be changing.

I wonder if Twilight hitting the best-seller lists had anything to do with that?

(As in "Just like Twilight, Except CHRISTIAN(TM)!")

Thank-you soooo much Mary. I've got to get down to Cajun land to visit the Cajun fairies very soon but until then, "Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez!" :)

And Joseph, Dark Shadows was my first "cinematic" love as far as vampires and werewolves go. Yes, I know that's hardly cenematic but it's the best I can do for now. And then of course, Buffy and Angel. Humor is at the heart of both Never Ceese and Forever Richard but hopefully sprinkled lightly. After all, it is a horror story. Balance is important.

I liked the interview Sue. I will have to admit that I am not a big fan of the vampire genre (unless it the 1931 version of "Dracula" with Bela Lugosi). The onslaught of cinematic vampirisms in the 1990s kind of done me in on that account. But I would find it interesting to read a vampire and werewolf book with huge amounts of humor. God bless and I pray his continuing success and favor on your projects.

Thank-you so much Jake! It's wonderful that my CBA/ECPA readers can hear from me on a site where they will often go for news about Christian authors, musicians and even movies.

And thanks to those who make The Christian Manifesto what it is. :)
